
Thomas William Selleck is an American actor from America. His breakout role was playing the private investigator Thomas Magnum in the television series Magnum, P.I. The actor was nominated five times for Emmy Awards in the category of Outstanding Lead Actor in the Drama Series (1980-1988) as well as received the Emmy Award in 1985. In the show Blue Bloods, Selleck has starred as Frank Reagan, New York City Police Commissioner. In nine television films inspired by the Robert B. Parker novels in which he portrayed Jesse Stone, a troubled small-town police chiefwho began his career in 2005. Selleck also played Peter Mitchell as a bachelor architect and a bachelor architect, in Three Men and a Baby (1987) as well as Three Men and a Little Lady(1990). Also, he's appeared in over 50 different TV and film roles after Magnum, P.I., including the films Quigley Down Under, Mr. Baseball, and Lassiter.
