Kari Wuhrer was born April 28th, 1967. She is an American musician and actor. Her career started when she was a teenager. Her most well-known roles include Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders; and Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble) working as an accountant for payroll and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a policeman and car dealer). She has three siblings. In her teens She performed in nightclubs in the dark, escaping from home. She studied acting from when she was 13 years old at Wooster School. Later, she studied acting at the NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts along with renowned instructor Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer, a model from Connecticut is an American model, actress and singer. Kari began acting when she was a teenager, and her first TV appearance was on 1987 MTV's Remote Control.
