Dua Lipa is an English artist and musician who was born on August 22 1995 in London United Kingdom. She signed her first contract with Warner Bros Records in 2014 after working as a model. The label dropped her debut album, self-titled in 2017. It peaked at number third on the U.K. Albums Chart and recorded eight singles that included Be The One I.D.G.A.F and the U.K. number-one single New Rules which reached number six in the United States. Lipa has been awarded the Brit Awards as a British female solo artists and British breakout act in the year 2018. Her album was certified as platinum throughout the world. Her parents were Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa Rexha and Dukagjin Lipa. Due to her maternal grandmother she has Bosnian descent. She is the sibling of Rina Lipa, as well as one younger brother, named Gjin.
